CE Introduction:
In the EU market, the "CE" mark is a mandatory certification mark. Whether products produced by enterprises within the EU or products produced in other countries, if they want to circulate freely in the EU market, they must be affixed with the "CE" mark to indicate that the products meet the basic requirements of the EU New Method for Technical Coordination and Standardization. This is a mandatory requirement of EU laws on products.
CE mark:
1. The "CE" mark is a safety certification mark, which is regarded as a passport for manufacturers to open and enter the European market. All products with the "CE" mark can be sold in the EU member states without meeting the requirements of each member state, thus realizing the free circulation of goods within the EU member states.
2. The "CE" mark must be affixed in a prominent position. The "CE" mark must be affixed by the manufacturer or the designated representative located in the European Union. The manufacturer (within the EU or from outside the EU) is the ultimate responsible person for making the products meet the basic requirements of the Directive. The manufacturer can also designate a plenipotentiary representative within the EU, and the person responsible for putting the products on the market will assume the responsibility of the manufacturer.
In principle, in order to ensure that the products meet all the requirements of the relevant directives, the "CE" mark can be affixed on the products only after all the conformity assessment procedures have been completed. The work of affixing the "CE" mark is often completed after the production stage. For example, first stick the "CE" sign on the parameter label, and then stick the "CE" sign on the product after the inspection. However, if the "CE" mark is affixed by die stamping or casting, forming an integral part of the product or parts, the mark can be affixed at the production stage, as long as the product is verified to be qualified in the conformity assessment procedure of the entire production process.
The "CE" mark indicates that the product complies with the most basic public interest involved in the Directive, so it can be regarded as the basic information transmitted to the authorities of Member States and relevant solids. Therefore, the "CE" mark affixed to the product must be in a prominent position, clear and not easy to smear. In general, the "CE" mark is affixed to the product or its parameter label. If the "CE" mark cannot be directly affixed to the product, it can also be affixed to the product packaging or product attached documents. However, it is necessary to prove the reason why the "CE" mark cannot be affixed to the product, such as some explosive articles, or due to certain technical and economic conditions, Or because the size requirements of the "CE" mark can not be guaranteed to be met, or the requirements of clear and hard to apply the mark can not be met, in these cases, the "CE" mark can be pasted on the package or attached documents.
3. The minimum height of the "CE" mark shall not be less than 5MM, and the reduction or expansion shall be carried out in proportion.
4. Which products are applicable to the "CE" mark:
